We all have seen those movies and cartoons where a group of friends and family travel and stay in a long truck type house; some call it low bed trailers and some call it RVs, different states and countries, call it with different names but, you might have gotten an idea of what we are talking about. There are all sorts of low bed trailers and all have different purposes.

Not all low bed trailers are used for travelling with friends and family. The firs and the basic thing you should know is what is a low bed trailer? It is a long vehicle usually with 22 to 28 wheels and it is used to transfer heavy machinery and equipment from one place to another. These low bed trailers have huge oil storage terminals and you can usually see them on the highways. These are made in a way that they can carry heavy loads easily and safely. If you are about to get a low bed trailer for any reason then you should know that there are basically, three types of low bed trailers.

  1. Low Bed Semi Trailer: these are the types of low bed trailers which have huge suspension and shocks. You must have seen some of those movies where a car like Ferrari passes under the truck. Yes, these are that trailers These are usually used to transport heavy and huge parts; parts of airplanes or the war tanks and sometimes rocket bodies as well. these are also called extended low bed trailers because these are very long and sometimes, there are two operators of this trailer.
  2. RGN Trailer: it is also called a detachable gooseneck trailer and gooseneck lowboy trailer. It is used for transporting heavy machinery and equipment and that is also sensitive and needs to be unloaded and loaded with care. The trailer can be placed on another trailer and it has big shocks that make sure that the machinery and equipment is untouched.
  3. Concave Beam Type: the trailer has a dip in the body of the plane. It is used to transfer things like heavy rocks and stones and the dip supports the heavy things and it does not move an inch while the trailer is on the move as well.
